We often get the question, what is common for a massage therapist and tipping? Typically people tip similarly as a wait staff. If you think the service was good 10-15%, if you think it is great 20%+ is appropriate. Unlike many jobs in the service industry, a massage therapist can only serve one client at a time. They are paid well, but the work is so physical they can’t work an 8 hour shift without physically harming their bodies. Thank you!!
